ArmstrongExperience.com Wins CASE District Award
(March 13, 2012) Armstrong Atlantic State University’s Marketing & Communications department and Information Technology Services won a Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District III Special Merit Award for Overall Web Site Design and Implementation of ArmstrongExperience.com.
ArmstrongExperience.com features the accomplishments of students, alumni and faculty at Armstrong. The website is a compilation of short essays with photography and video highlighting personal, academic and community-based efforts.
Persons recognized include Carly Hallman, Ben Page, Jose Kuhn, Janice Stanford, Jill Phongsa, Katherine Arntzen, Brenda Forbis, Erica Archangel and Francisco Duque.
The site received further distinction at the CASE District III Conference held in Atlanta, Ga. on February 19-22. Andy Goodman, founder of the American Comedy Network and writer/producer for "Dinosaurs," recognized ArmstrongExperience.com during his presentation "Storytelling as Best Practice." He praised the university’s use of storytelling to effectively brand the college and reach out to potential students and alumni.
