“Become a Teacher” Information Session
(June 24, 2012) Armstrong's College of Education “Become a Teacher” information session will help jump-start a teaching career for bachelor's degree holders in all stages of life. The session will be held on Thursday, June 28, from 6-7p.m. at the Armstrong Center Auditorium, 13040 Abercorn St., in Savannah. The information session is free and open to the public.
For individuals with a bachelor's degree in any major who want to become certified teachers, Armstrong's College of Education can make that happen through the Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) or post-baccalaureate, non-degree teacher certification programs.
The “Become a Teacher” information session will address the paths to certification, the application process and financial aid. Attendees will be able to ask questions and receive individual attention.
