Ethics in the Workplace Community Symposium on Nov. 20
(Nov. 12, 2014) — Armstrong State University and Savannah State University will co-host a special presentation on Thursday, Nov. 20 about ethics and fraud in today's workplace. Presenters will include Andrew Mudrinich, Ph.D., assistant professor of accounting at SSU; Rick McGrath, Ph.D., professor of economics at Armstrong; and Kelly Crosby, senior director-internal audit of the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System. This event is free and open to the public and will be held at the Coastal Georgia Center, located at 305 Fahm St.
This community symposium offers the opportunity for area business owners, community leaders, managers and auditors to explore the origin and impact of unethical practices as well as ways to cultivate an ethical culture in the workplace. This event is part of the University System of Georgia's statewide observance of International Fraud Awareness Week, which strives to create a more ethical culture in the workplace.
