Paint the Town Maroon on March 27!

(March 4, 2015) — On Friday, March 27 Armstrong State University will host a rally downtown in Johnson Square, located at Bull St. and E. Congress St., with The Pinyan Company serving as the presenting sponsor. Armstrong alumni, students, faculty, staff, supporters, and community members will gather to highlight the university's 2014-2015 fundraising successes and to celebrate Armstrong's relationship with the Savannah community.

Shuttle service to and from Armstrong's main campus, located at 11935 Abercorn St., will be available for the duration of the event. The festivities will include a pirate photo booth, lunch, music, games, Leopold's ice cream and more! This event is free and open to the public.

Paint the Town Maroon started in 2014 in order to bring Armstrong's story back to downtown Savannah and to showcase the importance of our students and graduates in the community. Over 60 percent of Armstrong alumni stay in the greater Savannah area after graduation — making a huge impact on the local community and economy. Proceeds from the event go directly to student scholarships. To learn more about how you can get involved, contact Armstrong's Office of Advancement at 912.344.2870 or visit .
