A former Student Government Association president and student ambassador, Escolar was an international student who made a big impact of the campus. He continues to enjoy a close association with Armstrong and as editor of the Savannah Morning News weekly entertainment guide, Do, he keeps locals and tourists informed about all manner of entertainment in the Coastal Empire.
