Major Scott C. Scheidt received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2003 from Armstrong at which time he also received an Army Officer Commission Armstrong ROTC program. Maj. Scheidt was able to continue his education throughout his combat tours receiving a Master of Business Administration in Logistics Management, Magna Cum Laude in 2006 from Trident University. He is currently writing his dissertation for the doctorate in Business Administration requirements also through Trident University.

Maj. Scheidt is the lead intelligence training consultant at Fort Stewart facilitating Soldier required training at home station prior to world wide deployment. He has received numerous awards for his client support most recently for his management of the training which was vital in the 3rd Infantry Division’s management of its mission requirements in Afghanistan. He currently oversees an international program for U.S. Forces Command focused on analysis of threat activities and operations effects on Combat Commands in the United States, Europe, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region. Maj. Scheidt has been a member of the Georgia Army National Guard since 2009 assigned to key leadership roles. He is currently assigned as the Commander, Georgia Garrison Training Center at Fort Stewart, Ga.

Maj. Scheidt is a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. which is heavily involved in developing young men to achieve in every field of human endeavor. He is also an active member of the Savannah Chapter of the Georgia Young Republicans and is the current President-Elect of the Armstrong Alumni Association.
