Paula Tillman is committed to helping others in times of crisis. Through her work with the American Red Cross, this fearless nurse has deployed to New York City for 9/11, Louisiana for Hurricane Katrina and Texas for Hurricane Ike, providing much-needed medical assistance in the wake of disaster. She earned the Red Cross Service Award for Disaster Training in 2010, in recognition of accomplishments as an instructor, associate and supervisor on various local and national disaster assignments. Over the years, Paula has served as a leading force in creating the post-baccalaureate Clinical Informatics Certificate Program for Armstrong Atlantic State University. Honored as the 2010 Nurse of the Year by the American Red Cross, Savannah Chapter, Paula is currently completing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Georgia Southern University and a post-master’s certificate in Informatics from the University of Colorado.
